Condolence: Memories of Klaas
1. Klaas and Dini both made me feel welcome when we moved to Orono in 2007.
2. When Klaas told me his name I pronounced it as "Klause" and he quickly corrected me. 😊
3. I remember his gentle caring for a dog he adopted that had been abused by a previous owner.
4. Klaas always looked for raisin pie at the Rebekah Hall fundraising suppers. I tried to sve a piece for him wherever I coild2.
5. I remember the pride he showed when Brian became a Mason. He introduced Brian to me as we were serving the supper. I told Klaas that his son was as handsome as he was. Klaas was beaming!
Great memories of an outstanding person. Goodbye Klaas.

Condolence: Our sincere condolences to the entire Schoenmaker Family. Klass was a wonderful man, father, grandfather, a pillar in the community. Our thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time: Dini his wonderful and caring wife, his three children, Brian, Janet & Yvonne - we are so sorry for your loss.
