Obituary for Brian Leroy Ware

WARE, BRIAN LEROY – December 1, 1941 – September 12, 2016 – We are deeply saddened to share the unbearable loss of our beloved husband, father of six, grandfather of seven, son, brother, uncle, father-in-law, son-in-law and dear friend of so many. Brian was well known for his wit and sense of humor. He was an avid hockey player for many years, who loved and respected his “hockey buddies”. He enjoyed fishing, loved to travel and enjoyed listening and dancing to the “oldies”. Long time employee of Consumers Gas (Enbridge). He was a past volunteer for the Ontario Society of Crippled Children (now Easter Seals) for many years. He succumbed to Colo Rectal cancer, peacefully and pain free with his wife by his side. Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Koneru (Oncologist) and Sue (Nursing Assistant) at Oshawa Lakeridge Cancer Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation Palliative Care where Dr. Osborne and all of his team in the south wing 1st floor treated Brian with dignity, compassion and loving care.
