Condolence From: Larry and Debbie Brunt
Condolence: Our sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. Both Larry and I have very fond memories of Ted. I remember him as ‘Daddio’ while I was a Rotary Exchange student. He was so very kind to me and to my family. And Larry remembers him well as he was growing up being friends with Roberta. The passing of a loved one is never easy, but hopefully the many memories you have will help ease your grief.

Condolence: I am saddened to learn of the passing of Doc Mann. My condolences to his friends and family. Ted was a great man. His kindness and welcoming smile will truly be missed. His healing hands helped so many and inspired me to become a chiropractor. His caring nature will always be a source of inspiration in health and community living.

Condolence From: Pat Vinish
Condolence: My regrets to the family and friends of to me “Doc Mann”. The community of Bowmanville has lost one of their best.
Although I have been geographically estranged from Ted for some 40 years, I have to credit him for many things about my better self. The example of a life well lived that he demonstrated has guided my judgment over the years. His stabilizing influence to my family upon the early passing of my own father in my high school days can not be overestimated. Thank you Ted.
Ted and I have had a special link over the years through Piliated Woodpeckers. Where I live in Nova Scotia I am gifted to live on the path of the daily sojourn of a pair of Piliateds. They are highly predicatable in my environment and I see them any time I am outdoors on their schedule. For 40 years I have thought fondly of Ted whenever I saw “my” Piliateds. I will be dedicating a tree in Ted’s memory in my bush where Piliated Woodpeckers come by every day.
Few people have served their fellow citizens the way that Ted did. We were truly honoured to have lived in his time.

Condolence: It is with much sadness I learned that Ted has died. He was such a kind and thoughtful person, much admired by his fellow Rotarians and well respected in the community. Ted and I started our respective careers in Bowmanville around the same time and I have fond memories of the many discussions we had over the years. I regret not being able to attend the funeral tomorrow but please know that Ted and his family will be in my thoughts.
Sincerely,
Chuck Cattran

Condolence: I will miss having Ted at his place the annual Christmas dinner gathering - such a very kind man with a terrific sense of humour, and always a good story to tell! But mostly I will remember him so very fondly and with loving gratitude for taking such very good care of Aunt Joyce - they made a terrific pair and could "always share a good laugh".
